In response to community needs, this dataset was created for a new mapping tool to help residents through </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>the parenting process. The mapping tool allows families to search for licensed child care centres, family drop-in programs, and EarlyON Child and Family Centres in York Region. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The data for each centre consists of the centre name, contact details, age groups served, and total capacity and vacancies.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>To support external use while protecting the privacy of home based locations -  X and Y Coordinate Fields were added to this layer; however, only the Home Child Care providers </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>have an X and Y coordinate field populated. The X and Y fields do not reflect the actual location, but rather the Postal Code Location. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The purpose of this is so the View (V_StChildrensService) can show up on Open Data without exposing the actual Home Care Provider Location."</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
