The new facility will pump up to 200 Liters/second of groundwater to enhance water supply reliability and system redundancy. York Region is conducting a survey of private wells in the area around the EGTPGL site. This survey will help ensure well owners in the towns of East Gwillimbury, Newmarket and Aurora, will not be impacted by the new water production wells. Your participation is valuable in ensuring a comprehensive assessment. The personal information collected on this form is collected by The Regional Municipality of York under the authority of the Ontario Water Resources Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. O.40, (the Act) and in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. M.56 (MFIPPA) , for the purpose of gathering baseline data that can help prevent and resolve well interference concerns as required as part of the permit to take water application process under the Act.
